Want to win a trip to celebrate Canada Day in the Capital? Love chicken? Love a little kitchen challenge? Ready to get cooking?
Announcing The Great Canadian Chicken Challenge!
The Chicken Farmers of Canada are looking for a few good recipes, but there’s a twist. Entrants must submit a unique recipe using the four challenge ingredients; chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in / skinless or skin on), Canadian-style ginger ale, quinoa and mango.
I think this is such a fun contest! Brain storming, trying to come up with the perfect recipe from the four challenge ingredients, makes me feel like I’m a contestant on one of those Food Network cook off shows. I can’t wait to see what people come up with! Will you be entering?
First Prize – 3 day, 2 night trip for four to Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day with Chicken Farmers of Canada (June 30-July 2, 2014), Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $500 food bank donation (approximate value up to $4,300 depending on winner’s location)
Second Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $250 food bank donation (approximate value $425)
Third Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $100 food bank donation (approximate value $225).
