Rainbow’s Art – Never Quite Wordless Wednesday

September 29, 2010 by Deanna Tousignant 4 Comments

Rainbow’s skills in drawing have made a real improvement over the last little while.  Here’s two of my recent favs.

Three year old's attempt at art, a cat-o-saurus.

I drew the outline for the requested Cat-O-Saurus, then she added spikes and whiskers. She also drew his many little cat brothers, and one big cat sister to ride on his back. I was pretty impressed.

Preschooler art.

This is Rainbow and her little sister. She added the Big Capital G next to herself and then the little g  next to Baby G.  I thought the whole Big G little g thing was cute for her to come up with on her own and I was wowed that she managed to make recognizable letters without me modeling them. (Too bad she drew this on the back of the F is for Frog letter tracing sheet.)
