I have found that there are three unwavering certainties in this life as a mom thing.
1)The laundry is literally never-ending. Unless you institute nudist weekends at your place, you will never, ever, get to the bottom of Mount Laundry. Every day the entire family wears clothes, often multiple outfits in one day. Thus, the laundry is NEVER done.
2)You have to feed the kids. For some crazy reason, they demand to eat dinner every day. And lunch. And breakfast. Yes, even on school days.
3)The car ALWAYS needs gas. Much like the kids, the darn mini-van is always hungry. That “I just filled the tank and am driving out of the gas station” moment never lasts. The various appointments and errands are unending, and the car always needs a top up.
I can’t help with the first two, but I can offer you a lead on a break from that third one…

It won’t help with the laundry, or stop the kids from wanting dinner EVERY DARN DAY, but it just may keep the tank full on your automobile for the next year.
Good luck!
