Swagbucks has a nifty promotion going on right now called Swago Pie Fest. It’s basically a bingo card that you fill up by doing different activities on the site. Plus there’s a spin to win component. I played around with it a bit this afternoon and I racked up a couple hundred SB points in a short period of time. So, I’ve got to say, if you already collect points with Swagbucks now would be a really good time to check in.
A good time to jump in signup…
If you don’t already have a Swagbucks account, I totally recommend signing up. They have a deal going on right now where you can earn up to $5 in signup bonuses. Then once you’re signed up you can do the bingo card promotion — if you’re thinking of trying Swagbucks, this is a great chance to learn all about how the site works and earn a bunch bonus points while doing it.
If you are not familiar with Swagbucks…
Basically, you can earn SB points for shopping online, for watching videos, for taking surveys and for using their search engine. That last one is my favourite way to earn points. I just surf the web, as I would normally do, using their search engine as I’m browsing around, and I earn points throughout the day.
And why do I want to earn SB points?
100 SB points equals a dollar, roughly. For example, you can cash 500 points in for a $5 Amazon giftcard.
There are tons of other things you can redeem for, but Amazon giftcards are by far my favourite (I’ve been earning points with Swagbucks on and off again for a few years, and in that time I have redeemed for a couple hundred dollars worth of gift cards).
I just cashed out for a $15 Amazon.ca giftcard today. I was pretty close to the number of points needed for the $25 giftcard, but I got antsy and redeemed today because I was doing a little online shopping for my daughter’s upcoming birthday and I wanted to be able to use a giftcard towards it.
Cool Deal Alert
I was pretty excited to note that Amazon.ca giftcards are currently “on sale”, and you can redeem at 10-20% off. For example, you can get a $25 gift card for 1760 points, instead of 2500, or a $10 gift card for 875 (instead of 1000).
If you already collect SB points, be sure to swing by and check out the Swago promotion and the discounted Amazon.ca redemptions.
If you aren’t already with Swagbucks you should take the time to check it out. Click here to sign up and get started — If you sign up through my link and earn 300 SB before June 1st, you’ll get a bonus 300 SB!
