And I don’t know about you guys, but around our house where it’s needed most is in my kids toys. I need a decent battery, one that lasts longer than the time it takes me to hunt down the screwdriver, finagle the darn toy open and refill it. Cheap batteries aren’t worth the extra fuss, and the disappointment from my kids when their toy runs down almost immediately.
One of the main things I am looking forward to feeding batteries to this holiday season is the Furby Boom. The whole original Furby craze was a little past my time, but I always thought they looked like fun and I’m looking forward to playing around with this little Duracell fueled creature with my girls. With the new Furby Boom, playing with it, and how you choose to treat it, is supposed to shape it’s personality. I’m curious as heck to see how our Furby “develops” as my daughters play with it.
I also love that there is a free iPad app designed to interact with the Furby Boom, which even allows you to get virtual eggs and hatch and raise little baby Furblings. I highly suspect my kids are going to go crazy over this.
