GIlmore Girls: A Year in the Life premiered on Netflix last Friday. It’s a four part mini-series that picks up the storyline ten years after the original series ended. And I know bunches of people who have feverently been waiting for the Nov.25th release date.
Okay guys… please don’t throw things at me… but I’ve got a confession to make. I’ve never watched Gilmore Girls. Never. Ever. Not a single minute of it. (Well, outside of the Netflix trailers I’ve been seeing over the past few weeks.)
I don’t think it’s my cup of tea (or I suppose I should say coffee, as that would seem to fit the theme better). As a general rule I like sci-fi shows or shows with fantasy elements, and the occasional dusty historical documentary. I am so not the target audience here.
But… from what I can gather, plenty of you folks are Gilmore Girls fans. So the fact that I don’t watch the show is sort of good news for you all. See, Netflix sent me this cute package to celebrate the Gilmore Girls revival…
And since it feels like a shame to have all this themed goodness wasted on a non-fan like myself… I am going to pass it along and pay the shipping to send a present off to one of you Gilmore Girls fans.
One lucky Maple Leaf Mommy reader is going to win
an oversized “Luke’s” coffee mug and a set of Gilmore Girls trivia cards.
P.S. I’m testing out a new giveaway tool, so I ask that you have a bit of patience and if anything seems glitchy please let me know.
