Haven’t tried it yet but plan to soon. I love that I’d be able to pick up my groceries without even getting out of my car! lol.. sometimes my little one just isn’t in the mood for shopping. This will be such a time saver and also stop me from spending more money buying extras that I just happen to see throughout the store.
I absolutely love that you can order for pickup. Great for disabled people.
Yes, I agree. My mother-in-law had a stroke a few years back and can no longer drive. I think this is going to be the perfect solution for her.
Loblaws has so may products you can’t get anywhere else thats why I love to shop there.
I haven’t tried it yet
i have never used this — in fact i enjoy grocery shopping (is that weird?) my favourite feature would be avoiding crowds, and the free bottle of water 🙂 i think it would make me feel special to use this service!
I haven’t tried the click and collect and probably won’t. I’m one of those people who like to see and feel what they are going to buy. Your experience does sound good though, but I couldn’t smell strawberries to see if they are really good nor test a melon to see if it’s ripe. The fact that I like most about this is the fact that you save so much time.
Well one thing I have learned , is that there is groceries on the shelves at 7am on a friday and none on the shelves on the weekends. So if they could guarantee the stuff you want to be able to be ordered and picked up, this would be fantastic (I can’t see it happening though lol) I don’t live in the city so when I go, there better be food on the shelves LOL because I only go bi-weekly and only once a month and sometimes less in the winter (cus if its storming and not the stupid person out on the highway)
Okay this part really impressed me: “The frozen stuff had been sitting in a freezer, and the cold things had been sitting in a fridge, waiting for me to arrive.”
Great way to shop
I have not used Click & Collect yet. I think it’s fantastic that you can get deli meats and even have them cut to the thickness that you desire, neat! However, I’m not sure I’d be comfortable having someone else selecting my produce…
I have never tried this but it would be great for someone who is housebound or if someone was at work they could order on their lunch break and pick it up after work.
Like you, I’m not much for talking to strangers, but I do like that your personal shopper contacted you to try and complete the order to your satisfaction — it saved you a trip to the store.
I haven’t tried it, but I enjoy shopping at Loblaws so I wouldn’t need it, unless I was short of time.
I like that you can order it and pick it up.
I enjoy shopping at Loblaws because of the variety of products and the prices.
I like the prices and that they sell more than just food…one stop shopping. And the prices are great.
I’ve never tried it, but avoiding crowds would be awesome.
I have no tried it yet but I like avoiding the crowds and lines.
I like that you can order for pickup
I never used it and not sure if I would like it. I like to choose my own fruit and vegetable. My daughter use it a few times and really like the convenience. but she didn’t like that they were out of specific items, like strawberries. So she stop using it.
I have never tried it but living in a small town I know this would not be available here and I don’t drive so wouldn’t work for me anyways, plus I am very picky on my produce
I have never tried this but would like its convenience
It seems like a good service!
I haven’t tried it yet but I use the site to make my shopping lists!!
I love that you can order and pick it up. Saves time.
I have not tried it yet.
It is available at one of our stores but not a location near me.
I dislike grocery shopping so I love that someone else does all the work.
I’ve never tried Click and Collect but based on your review I would find the feature to personalize my order most useful. For example, you mentioned that you could choose how you wanted the deli meat sliced.
Loblaws is like 5 minutes away, Pc products (new stuff every season)
I have never tried this since the store is so close – I like doing my own shopping in person.
I love that I can shop at home and then just go and pick it up.
I love shopping there but I haven’t tried this yet , I really love how nice they seem ! Great customer service , love the water as a added touch !
I haven’t tried this yet but if and when it comes to my area, I will be using this service, shopping from the comfort of my home whenever I want and just going to pick it up will not only save me time, but will save me money as well because I won’t be picking up items I don’t need!!
I haven’t tried this yet but love that you can choose a time to pick up the order!
I love that I can buy groceries without getting out of the car.
I too have my hubby get or pick the deli meats…lol. This site sounds like a great option.
I like shopping at Loblaws because the stores are clean and well-arranged. There are many products to choose from including the newest on the market.
avoiding the lines and crowds sounds awesome!
Last time I checked this service was not available at the store by me. My daughter in law lives in a different city and was telling me how much she enjoys just having to go pick up the order. I will use it when it arrives here because I have bad knees and rarely can make it through the whole store. When the pain gets too unbearable I quit and go home with whatever I have managed to get but not my whole list.
I really like the PC rewards program. Very practical when feeding children!
It would be great to win a $100 PC Gift Card.
In response to your question of
Why do you enjoy shopping with Loblaws Click & Collect?
I haven’t tried it yet but the feature that appeals to me is that
you can shop at home and then just go and pick up your groceries.
Thank you for having this giveaway.
I haven’t tired it as of yet. It sure would be handy when you don’t want to go to the grocery store. Just order online and pick it up. So convient.
I like the idea of ordering at home, you can meal plan and stay within your budget without impulse buying and getting flustered at the store!
I have signed up for the service but have not tried it yet !
I haven’t tried it but, I am so interested in it. Years ago I wanted to do Grocery Gateway but, it was not available in my area. I think that as a full time mom as well as working full time – it is hard to juggle home life with all the other activities that I need to get my kids to.. This would be a great service and I like that I could just pick up on my way to one of these activities etc. (It is too bad that I still need to put the groceries away but, it is a start!)
I would like it because it would be convenient.
I like the fact that if you are in a hurry you can arrange to have your groceries ready for you you arrive. Saves time on busy days.
No I haven’t tried it yet.
I love you can order to pick up. Love shopping for PC products and trying new ones.
I have not tried the Click and Collect program yet. But as soon as one is offered near me, I definitely will!! I love the ease of being able to shop, in my own time, at home, and just drive to have it already packed up for me. And make PC points while I am at it! Great program!
I’ve only heard and click & collect recently and I plan to use it on a busy day!
I would love to use it! It would save so much time when someone picks up all the items I need. For example, I can pick out thei items I want and pick it up after work in time to pick up the kids!
I haven’t tried click and collect yet but I am looking forward to trying it! I like that they have a “No substitutions” options because I am quite particular about the brands I buy.
the best part is being able to shop at your convenience and also skipping long lineups
I haven’t tried it yet, just came to our city. I like that you don’t have to get out of your car, would be great in -40 weather we get here sometimes.
I haven’t tried it yet. I would love the convenience and it would save so much time.
I know about this service but, have not tried it. I think this would be good for restocking items that I usually buy at Loblaws or for a party as the prices are the same as in the store. It would definitely cut the time spent shopping for them. However, I also shop at No Frills and Real Canadian Superstore. The price for baking soda is cheaper in No Frills than at Loblaws, plus they price match. Click & Collect is more applicable for times when most of my shopping would be at Loblaws. I mostly shop in store as there were times that I was able to get an item for free or at $10 off at Superstore, Metro and Shoppers Drug Mart stores via the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. Or use a product coupon that I have. Or get an item discounted for the day in Value Mart and Shoppers Drug Mart that you wouldn’t find in Click & Collect. It would be good if they could also offer delivery as I don’t have a car. For this, Grocery Gateway is the better choice as you can arrange delivery to your home after you’ve arrived from a trip abroad. This feature will greatly increase participation of non-car owners as it cuts the time travel and cost of commuting especially in bad weather like the Ice Storm of 2013. Less people on the road is more environmental, too.
Haven’t tried it yet but I like the idea of not having to get the kids out of their carseats!
I really like that you can order for pickup!
I am 100% on board with Click & Collect! Ordering groceries for pick-up is a feature I’ve been needing for so long. My son has autism & it is practically impossible to shop with him as he has meltdowns in the store as he becomes overwhelmed, wants to grab every item he loves & has great difficulty waiting in lines. For parents of special needs children, this program is the most innovative & is a huge relief, saving time, upset & grief. I am so thankful to PC for changing the way we can shop!!
I like the conveinece factor! I never heard of this before,..great for people that don`t want to waste time wandering around a store looking for things.
i love the conveinece for the busy family . excellent
I love online shopping as it is and being able to online shop for groceries is great! I hate walking around the aisles looking for items that may or may not be in stock when I can do it in the comfort of my own home! Love that they have a personal shopper (fancy!) and that they load your car for you.
Such a great idea for shut-ins….order what you need and have someone pick it up for you!
convenience is fabulous I love technology!
Truthfully I think Dominion always have better prices.
I really like that you can order for pick up! Would be perfect when working late or a busy day! Thanks for the post!
This sounds like a great convenience for the elderly or other people with limited mobility or other disabilities for which grocery shopping is a challenge.
I don’t like the idea of a personal shopper but it sounds lovely. I wouldn’t want to do all the talking. I think I should learn how to talk.
I haven’t tried this yet, but I love that I’d be able to pick up my groceries without even getting out of my car!
never tried.love to use
I have not used Click & Collect yet. but I I think it’s a fantastic idea for those days when I’m run off my feet and don’t have the time or when I just want to relax. There are also days that are too inconvenient to go shopping at all,Like if I get company and would rather spend the time with them.I find it appealing because of the great service.
I like how they treat each individual with their own preferences and how each of us like buying things. For example how thick we like our deli meats sliced. That’s the awesome part that stands out for me.
Never used it, but I would consider it (not for produce/meat/dairy, though — prefer to choose my own, and make sure dairy expiry dates are the best available). I would enjoy the convenience of minimizing my time in the store, and just showing up to pick up the stuff. Fantastic idea — and am already a huge fan of Loblaws, No Frills, PC Plus, etc. Hope I can still earn PC Plus points there!
Loblaws has everything I need in groceries and it is so clean and organized.
I likethat you can order for pickup
Wow what a great idea, I love the fact that I can shop at home then give a time frame to go and pick up my groceries..image not having to stand in line again…I love that it showed you a running total in your cart.
I like it , great that I can place my order then pick it up on my way home.
they have quite a few of different brands and I really like the pc branded items
Although I have not used Click & Collect YET, I like that you had a personal shopper follow up with your order. I think I would save time and money with this service!
I have not used the online shopping option, I would probably buy a lot more if I was surfing the aisles from the couch.
I have not tried this app yet, but you have me interested
I like that it suggested savings to you with the multi-buy because sometimes while I’m shopping I forget what the flyer deal was and forget to check the small print.
Haven’t tried it, but it sure would save time!
I haven’t tried click and collect yet but I definitely will be trying it soon! I love the that you have a personal shopper!!
I don’t have a Loblaws in my area but we instead have Zehrs and No Frills. Both have Presidents Choice products. The click & collect system seems awesome. I just wonder how I could use coupons with this system.
I don’t have a Loblaws nearby either. It’s actually a Zehrs that I am doing Click & Collect at. I have read that they accept coupons, I’m not sure exactly how it works, but I’m testing it out! I placed another order yesterday that I will be picking up later today, and I picked out bunches of stuff that I have coupons for. So I’ll report back and let you know how well payment works with coupons.
I haven’t tried it yet. I like that it keeps a running total of your cart.
There is always something NEW at Loblaws & love browsing the aisles…also find some items cheaper that at other supermarkets.
Have not tried the app yet, but looks interesting
Is there something wrong with the rafflecopter? ALL of my entries from june 13th and onward have disappeared ..it wants me to do all the entries again
and today, I still only have 8 entries no matter how many times I tweet
I’m looking into this Sabina, but haven’t figured it out yet. Did you clear your cookies/cache? Are you logging out of Rafflecopter somehow? If you had to log back in, did you use the same email account each time?
I have never used it but it sounds great
I haven”t tried it yet, but thinks it would be amazing in crunch times.
i’ve never tried this feature before but i like how the personal shopper was very helpful. sounds like great customer service to me!
I love that you can do you shopping online and then pick it up later.
I like that it tells you if an item is on “multi-item” sale so you can decided if you want to buy extra and save
I haven’t tried Click and Collect yet. We do not have that option here. I may do it though when I am heading to the city one day. Sounds like a real time saver. I really like the selection and you can price compare with this.
i do like loblaws because you can find good deals. i would love the convenience of click and collect
Superstore is the place we buy 99% of our groceries, and I this online shopping/in-store pick up option is SO perfect for a mom with young kids. I do NOT get to browse the aisles in peace when I’m shopping with the kids, so I love the way you can take your time browsing online, then pick up. The pick up fee is absolutely worth it to me!
I love that it gives you a running total, that must be so handy. And it’s easier to remove items from a virtual cart rather than a physical one lol
The feature that appeals to me the most is the wide variety on the website when shopping and that I can shop from home instead of in the store for those times that I need to get it done but something is stopping me from going through the process.
I haven’t tried the click and collect and most likely won’t. I like to see and feel what I am buying and read labels however saying that, if I was in a position where I couldn’t do this, being able to order what I need would be great.
I total understand what you’re saying, Wendy. In store shopping is a different experience and there is something to be said for getting to touch and see the things you pick. However I wanted to mention you can actually read all of the product labels online. I was surprised that they had entered all of that extra info and I thought it was a really neat feature.
click and collect sounds so convenient, I have a friend who does this and I’m so jealous we don’t have one close by
I havent tried it yet but i like the feature of being able to add items to my list during the week
I have not tried it yet, but think that I will soon. I like that you can order for pickup, so convenient.
I haven’t tried Loblaws Click and Collect yet, but I like the idea of just pulling up into the parking lot and having my personal shopper load the trunk with my grocery order!
I generally shop at Co-op or Safeway, however there is Your Independent Grocer in my neighbourhood that I frequent occasionally. What I like about the YIG is the the PC brand products including the ‘green’ cat litter and Black Label products.
I love that I can keep track of how much I’m spending as I’m picking my grocery items.
I’ve never used Click and Collect before but like that they tried to make your order satisfactory even though they were out of stock on a few items.
I have not tried the click & collect services yet but being able to shop and then choose a delivery time that works for me sounds great!
I like shopping in person, so I haven’t tried it yet but I would like the convenience of shopping from home if needed.
I haven’t tried this yet. We do not have a Loblaws in town but have a No Frills which does not have this feature yet.
Keeping track of home much I spend
Thanks, for the informative post. Did not know about this handy
way to shop. Great, gc swag too.
Never tried yet but sounds great that you can order and pick up!
I haven’t tried this…I must see if it is available at my location
This isn’t available in Calgary but I like how convenient and easy it appears to be
I really enjoy grocery shopping. I love going up and down each aisle and strolling in the meat department and also the produce department. I don’t think I’d enjoy shopping from my armchair.
Haven’t tried it yet! The shop online and then pickup later is pretty convenient!!
I really like that I don’t have to get out of my vehicle to get my groceries. With two little boys, this is so amazing!
I could definitely get used to this, so convenient. I would really save a good 1 1/2! Awesome 🙂
Perk – convenience but packed with care and accuracy.
Sorry, I put in the wrong tweet link for June 25. It should have been https://twitter.com/wowcheckitout/status/746608305812836353
I have yet to try it but love the convenience it would bring!
Great to hear you had such a good experience with the click and collect! I have always been curious about it .. I think I may give the service a shot!
The click and connect is an amazing way to shop, it lists what you search in order of sale prices, and breaks it down to pricing per sizes or units, and then allows to easily add items to cart. After that, a personal shopper at the store (when it opens during working hours) picks up the items for you, for a minimal cost and upon checkout you can choose a time to pick up all your completed shopping list at the store. If items are not in stock, you will receive a personal call informing you beforehand, which allows you to add substitutes. In this busy world, this great shopping convenience allows one to shop at their convenience, 24 hours a day from their smart phone, tablet or computer just by going to the zehrs.ca website, it saves you time, not having to spend in the store shopping. This is the best thing ever!
i have not tried this service yet
I didn’t know you could order for pickup
I love collecting PC points!!! Thank you.
I’ve only recently heard of this service and I can’t wait to try it. For me, it’ll be great to order groceries that I can pick up on the way home from work and not have to waste time in the store.
I have not tried this. Your experience sounded awesome though , and like you I would have gotten out of the vehicle and try to help load to .I do not have a vehicle , since my van blew up last year , but this would be worth getting the order ready on a day I know my mom could come and I could just get stuff that way .
I have not tried it but I like that you can place an order and pick the time you pick it up. It sounds so easy.
I haven’t tried the click and collect but I like the idea and will try it next time.
I have never tried this. It seems like a great idea and very convenient for those who are unable to travel/leave home and are too busy – they can place their order and pick up on their way home.
I haven’t tried it out yet, but it would be great for me. I am disabled, and it is hard for me to getting shopping some days because of the pain. So to shop online, and be able to just go and pick it up, awesome 🙂
I have never tried this
I have used this service once when my kids were sick. It was so convenient and saved me some valuable time!
I love the convenience of click and collect!
I hadn’t even heard of this till this blog but I’m intrigued. I love the idea that I still get lots of choice and time to shop without the actual crowded, busy schedule. I’m also not a huge fan of the phone call but I think thats important to conquer anyways personally.
i would use it if i had a car to pick up my items and was in a rush. i enjoy picking out my items and don’t know if i would have someone pick out items like produce, etc.
I love Loblaws click and collect as it makes this busy mama”s life easier!
I have not tried it yet but I think this is a perfect idea for families on the go
We LOVE Loblaws, I love that you can pick up your groceries! Would be perfect for our family.
Haven’t tried it yet, but I would love this. So convenient…
I have not tried it but good to know that it exists.
I have not tried it yet but the feature I love the most is being able to do it on my time, even if my time is late at night and not have to worry about rushing around.
I have not used this yet but it sounds very convenient. I really like that they let you know what’s out of stock and ask if you want a substitute. The pick up fee is not bad either.
I like that you can search by product and they show you the price. This is something that I’ve been looking for and I didn’t know where to find it. Thanks for sharing.
Besos, Sarah
Journeys of The Zoo
I have not tried it but I like that I could pick up my order on the way home from work.
Having all of the prices online & the same as in store is a big thing for me! It’s a great way of knowing exactly what’s available and what I can get for my money. I love the whole aspect of convenience as well.
I haven’t tried it yet but I would love the time it saves – I’m so pressed for time some days that I’m scraping together a meal with whatever I have on hand. I would love to have my shopping done for me.
I have not used this service as yet. I would like many of the features but the running total really appeals to me as I like to stay on budget.
I haven’t tried Loblaws Click & Collect yet, I do plan to do take advantage of this great service!
I haven’t tried. If I worked full time I would haveused by now for sure. Especially if I had time to spare in office but not wanting to waste time at store
I have not tried this before. But I love the convenience of it !
I love shopping at Loblaws (and their other stores) because of the PC products!
I have not yet try this out. But I love that I can place the order in advance and then I simply have to go and pick up my order. I can save a lot of time.
I haven’t tried it however it sounds awesome. ?
Wow! I’ve never tried Loblaws Click and Collect, but I’d like to. It sounds so easy and efficient. I especially like the personal shopper to tidy up the odds and ends (items not being available etc.), and that the sale items are listed.
I was dubious at first.. I mean, who wants someone to go shopping for them? But it was surprisingly easy and the produce was as fresh as they would be if I got them myself. I would use the service again.
I personally am not a fan of having a personal shopper and would much rather do the shopping myself as I am extremely picky on what I choose. But it certainly sounds like a great idea for those that may need it.
It is great to give more independance for those of us with health issues. I’m often not well enough to go and shop, stand in line etc. When you live with chronic pain it’s a challenge. Bravo!
I haven’t tried this yet. It would be great because you don’t have to waste time in the store and at the cashier.
I haven’t tried it but I like that you can pick up your groceries and save time!
I am so impressed with the convenience of being able to pick up your groceries.
I haven’t tried it yet but love the convenience of ordering online & picking up
I haven’t use Click and Collect, because I’m a hands on person who actually enjoys shopping. If I were unable to shop for any reason, I would certainly use it.
What I like the best is that all of the prices online are the same as in the store.
I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but I like that it lays out all the sales under one tab AND that it has a search key so you can get specific. It reminds me a little of how the Flipp app functions which is another great money saver!
I like how the cart shows a running total. That would keep me from overspending.
I entered the tweet link wrong. So sorry. Here it is. https://twitter.com/Nicolthepickle/status/748881402406600704
Saves time!
Never tried click and collect, but I love this! Especially the shopping at 11PM aspect 😉
Haven’t tried but like the idea of this type of shopping for senior family members it may be convenient in the future!
Have not tried it yet but I like the convenience of ordering online and picking them up
The fact that all of the prices online are the same as in store appeals to me the most.
I haven’t tried it but I like the convenience and the time I can save with Click and Collect.
I haven’t had the opportunity to try this yet as it has not reached my city but I love the idea of it for sure. The thought of being able to do my grocery shopping whenever I wanted from home sounds awesome. I cannot wait until it comes here and I can try it out.
I love shopping at Loblaws because they have absolutely everything I need in one store. Their prices are very competitive and the checkout is always fast.
I haven’t tried it yet but sounds like a great service. I am a single mom who works 40 hours a week so finding time for grocery shopping is difficult. This would be right up my alley.
I haven’t tried it , but i love you can order and pick up , what a great idea 🙂
I have not tried it, I think it would be awesome to be able to order then pick up. I do like to inspect some of my food, but to have them pick the majority would be a great time saver
I haven’t tried it and unlikely to. I enjoy the grocery shopping experience..
Havent tried but would like too
i haven’t had a chance to try this yet, but i love that the prices are THE SAME as the in store prices! That is the biggest appeal.
I love that your order can be made for pickup. When my parents need me to get their groceries – it saves alot of time about their preferences!
I have not used Click & Collect yet – it sounds cool but would be a bit worried about produce

I like that the prices are the same as they would be if I were to shop in store, and that the fee is small to pick them up.
My favourite feature is being able to shop weekly flyers online; sounds really convenient.
