We had the chance to try out Kellogg’s new Krave cereal, and while I find it too sweet for a bowlful at breakfast time, I have got to say it makes one fantastic snack. We tried out both the Chocolate and Double Chocolate Krave. My kids enjoyed both flavours, while I definitely preferred the Double Chocolate type. Yum.
With a unique crispy shell on the outside and a smooth chocolatey inside, Kellogg’s Krave delivers 8 grams of whole grain, is a source of fibre, trans fat free, a source of 7 essential vitamins and minerals in every bowl and has 170 calories per serving with ½ a cup of 1% milk.
The girls and I have been enjoying sharing a bowl at snack time. A handful of Krave with some fresh berries, it reminds me of eating chocolate covered fruit. I’ve also been sending small portions of Krave to school with G as an occasional surprise treat.
I will definitely be buying more. Krave satiates my chocolate cravings, and is a snack time treat that the girls clamour for. (Less messy then most cookies too!)
