When I was a kid a special breakfast treat was when my mom made us peanut butter and banana toast. Yum. That’s still a huge comfort food for me. And of course my girls never get sick of plain old peanut butter sandwiches, which are pretty much a staple in our house. No matter what sort of picky phase my daughter’s are going through there are two things I know they will always eat; peanut butter sandwiches and bowls of dry Cheerios. And I’m thinking if they could somehow manage to have those two things together at once they would be pretty darn happy kids. Which is why when Cheerios announced these…
I knew I’d definitely be picking up a box. I mean, just imagine the combinations! You could mix these in with a bowl of plain Cheerios, or with the Banana or Chocolate flavoured ones, or maybe a bit of each. Dang, I can’t wait to try Banana and Peanut Butter Cheerios together and see how it compares to banana and peanut butter toast!
And I think Cheerios knew these combinations would readily spring to mind because they’re launching a coupon deal where you can get a box of Peanut Butter Cheerios for free, when you buy any flavoured Cheerios. Yep, that’s right, you can try out the new Peanut Butter Cheerios for free! You can get your own buy one Cheerios flavour (Banana Cheerios, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, or Chocolate Cheerios) and get one Peanut Butter Cheerios FREE coupon starting today (Feb.4th) on the Life Made Delicious Facebook Page.
The new Peanut Butter Cheerios will be hitting store shelves on March 4th (trust me, I marked my calendar). And in the meantime I’ve got one very cool Cheerios giveaway to share with you…
