Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, Review

July 18, 2011 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

Hidden Valley sent me some of their yummy Ranch Dressing to sample. This did not turn out at all how I thought it would. I already knew that my husband hates all things Ranch, but I thought my daughter would enjoy Ranch dipping sauce.  I was wrong. Rainbow apparently takes after her Dad, because she had zero interest in eating Ranch Dressing. Who would of thought?  I know most kids love the stuff!   I know for many children adding dipping sauce to the mix can get them to eat vegetables that they normally would turn their noses up at. Thankfully Rainbow loves her veggies and eats most of them with zero hassle, so I don’t need sauce to coax her.

On the other hand, thanks to having to give the product a proper taste test (ahem)…. I have developed a new addiction. Raw cauliflower or carrots plus Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing. Yumm. I could eat this all day. I normally do not use dressing. Other than the occasional caesar, I eat my salad plain. I did not think I would enjoy salad dressing as a dipping sauce. Yet I now find myself buying full heads of cauliflower on a regular basis, strictly for me to snack on.

So over all… big hit with mommy, strike out with the rest of the family.  How does Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing go over at your house?
