Stars on Ice (& in Drag), Hip Hip Chin Chin

On Mother’s Day I had the delightful experience of attending Stars on Ice in London. I wanted to share a few additional photos from one of my favourite parts of the show, a group dance set performed to “Hip Hip Chin Chin” by Club des Belugas. Upbeat tune, colourful costumes, flawless footwork, first class athletes making all that ice-skating look fun and effortless… what’s not to love?

There seemed to be something a little off with broad-shouldered woman in the green dress, Throughout the routine she was coming on a little strong to her dance partner, and then at the end of the set Browning tore off “her” wig to reveal Shawn Sawyer in drag. which got plenty of chuckles from the crowd.
