I hate cleaning. I mean I really really hate cleaning. I make a lousy housekeeper. I don’t so much mind the tidy, move, organize aspects. It’s the getting scrubby with cleaning products parts I detest. Which means I put it off, often for far too long. And when I finally do get down to the dirty task at hand, I need to apply extra elbow grease, and the right kind of product, to be able to clean the darn mess up.
If I ever win the lottery I am so getting a maid. An honest to goodness someone else can scrub my toilets and clean the bathtub maid. Yeah. There’s a nice daydream. In the mean time I am giving in to the inevitable and attempting to give the place a much needed spring cleaning; getting the cobwebs out of the corners, scrubbing the floors, washing the walls, all that good stuff.

This past week I tried Swiffer WetJet for the first time and I am totally in love. It did an amazing job of cleaning my hard wood floors and removing all of the mysterious stains and general kid grime. I’m also crazy about the Swiffer Duster. I’ve been using the Swiffer clothes for years, pretty much since the first day they came out. But the duster is something new I only first tried a few months ago. It’s like a feather duster, but made of Swiffer cloth. (Did you know Swiffer cloths are made in Canada at Brockville, Ontario? Cool, eh?) Brilliant stuff!
