This Saturdays’ sale is touted as their biggest ever, with over 150 tables booked. It runs from 10:30am to 2pm. If you want to be there for the start plan to show up between 10 and 10:30 and be prepared to stand in line. On the plus side the first 400 people through the doors get a goodie bag with coupons from local sponsors. Personally I haven’t found the goodie bags in the past to be that fantastic and I hate standing in line, so I usually aim to show up around 10:45-11ish. There is simply SO MUCH stuff to go through that you wouldn’t want to come much later, as you really do need a few hours to properly go through everything.
Bargain hunters will want to plan to stay late, as the last hour of the sale usually features ridiculous deals. Typically people offer half off prices or fill a bag for a dollar. I’ve had people offer me “everything I have left for $5”. I’ve even been given items for free.
Though kids are welcome on the Mom2Mom website they suggest no strollers. I really recommend that you listen to this suggestion. These sales are PACKED and there simply isn’t room for strollers. In the past I have worn the baby in a wrap and this has worked out fine. Though I have to admit I prefer when I can arrange for someone to watch them while I sneak out without any kids.
For the first time I’m going to be attending one of these sales as a seller. I have spent many hours packing and pricing stuff. I hope it goes well. The cost to take part is really reasonable. I paid $24 for a ten foot area. The fall sale is sold out, but if your interested sign up for their email and you’ll get a reminder when they start booking spaces for the spring sale. I’ll report back and let you know how I make out.

How sweet! Thanks! I'll need to give this some thought before I pass it on.
