Spring Means No More PJs at the Bus Stop – Motherhood Confession

April 24, 2015 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

Spring has sprung. I’m not sure that I should admit this but when it comes to getting out the door to the school bus in the morning I hate the warmer weather. When it’s cold out I get to wear a coat, my tall boots and a touque, which hide all sorts of things. When I’m wearing my big winter boots no one can tell my socks don’t match. With a touque no one can see my frizzy crazy bedhead. And unless they’ve got x-ray vision the other parents at the bus stop don’t know I’ve still got my PJ top on under my coat.

For some reason the neighbours look at me weird
when I wear this to the bus in 70 degree weather.

Suddenly it’s warmer out. Warm enough to just go to the bus in my skirt and t-shirt. And now I need to worry about all those extra little details. Or look like the tired frazzled out mom I truly am most days. I mean isn’t it enough that I make sure the big kid is groomed and ready to go to school each morning? Now I have to make sure I look presentable too? Sigh.

If you feel a tiny bit like I do then I’ve got something to help brighten your springtime blues. A giveaway full of P&G products to help you get into the swing of spring, and feel a little better about leaving that coat and touque at home.
Crest 3D White Brilliance Boost
Meant to pair up with the new Crest 3D White® Brilliance Toothpaste this polishing treatment is designed to amplify your smile’s brilliant whiteness.
Pantene Dry Defy Shampoo, Conditioner and Velvet Crème Infusion
Perfect for if your hair is feeling a bit dry and lifeless after the harsh dry cold winter weather. This three step system is designeds to replenish lost moisture and block damage sites, where it’s most easily lost. The three step system includes an intense hydrating shampoo and conditioner, as well as a Velvet Crème Infusion, which absorbs into hair and starts working immediately, leaving your hair soft and velvety.
Pantene Fade Defy Shampoo, Conditioner and Vibrant Color Magnifying Gloss
For bright, fade defying, hair colour that makes you happy to leave your touque at home. The Pantene Fade Defy system is designed to help your colour stay resilient and vibrant. This collection includes a shampoo and conditioner duo formulated with three amino acids found naturally in the hair’s core that help colour form more intensely in the hair fibre, and  a Fade Defy Vibrant Color Magnifying Gloss to seal everything in afterwards.
Olay’s Fresh Outlast Body Wash
Olay’s new Fresh Outlast Body Washes are formulated to work with your skin’s natural pH. The new line is made with essential oil based fragrances, meant to leave your skin feeling soft, fresh and clean. And it comes in soothing natural scents like Cooling White Strawberry & Mint and Crisp Pear & Fuji Apple.
EDIT: The giveaway attached to this post has ended. Congrats to the lucky winner of the Spring Time Beauty prize pack, Nate F. of Charlottetown, PEI.
