Holiday Shopping Made Easy with Shoppers Drug Mart

November 26, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

Shoppers Drug Mart is a one stop spot for holiday shopping. You can get everything from holiday treats and snacks to put out for when company arrives, to decorations, stocking stuffers and gifts. They are always open late, and I’m guessing that like me, your closest Shoppers is only a short walk or drive away. Ho Ho Ho.

Yep, I love Shoppers Drug Mart, but do you know why I love Shoppers so? It’s not just the convenience of shopping in one place for all the holiday goodies I need. The true reason I love Shoppers Drug Mart is that it is the one store where I can buy diapers and they give me points that turn into free chocolate. Thanks to the Shoppers Optimum Rewards Program, my weekly necessities like toilet paper and dish soap can transform into points and those points can turn into Sony Wireless Headphones. That’s pure Christmas magic there folks.

So follow me here as I reveal my holiday shopping master plan: First, earn points by shopping for the everyday things you need. Follow that up by earning even more points by doing your holiday gift shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart, and then redeem for bonus presents for merriest Christmas ever! Also, remember to check the weekly flyer for sales, keep an eye out for exclusive gift sets that you can only get at Shoppers, and don’t forget about special promo days where you can earn free gifts cards, or earn bonus Optimum Points, or redeem for extra dollars worth of items.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on my merry Shoppers shopping list for this season:

Play-Doh Candy Cane Set for ages 2+.

Cutest stocking stuffer ever! I of course need two of these, one for each girl. I am also thinking of grabbing another to include with our teacher gift for this year, as I know G’s teacher has little ones at home.}

Fragrance Sampler & Certificate For Her.

This fragrance sampler set is going to make the perfect present for my mom. It’s perfect for gift giving because I don’t have to guess which perfume would suit her best. She can sample them all and pick out which one she wants to redeem the certificate for.

Sony Wireless Headphones:

with Charging Base Station.

Marriage saver. My husband needs these. He’s been asking for new headphones, and I absolutely need him to have new headphones; so he can game as loud as he likes, or listen to podcasts without me having to listen along.

Simply Food Chocolate Nut & Fruit Medley:
Metal Tin with 285gs of Chocolate Nut & Fruit Medley

Ok, so this one’s for me. I did mention how one of my favourite things to redeem for is free chocolate, yes? Bonus: I need another tin to pack ornaments away in once the holidays are done.

What’s the number one item on your Shoppers Drug Mart Christmas wishlist? Check out the Shoppers Drug Mart website and take a look at their holiday catalogues for some awesome gift ideas. And keep in mind, select beauty products will have a free gift with purchase while quantities last!

Also be sure to like and keep an eye on the Shoppers Drug Mart Facebook page. It’s as awesome way to keep up on their weekly sales and promotions. Plus starting December 2nd they are going to be having an advent calendar style contest, where you’ll get the chance to win fantastic prizes for 12 days.
