Big Changes to EVERYTHING Pampers, But What Exactly Did They Change??

October 24, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you may have noticed by now that I am a not what you would call your typical girly girl, but rather a bit of a geek. So maybe you won't be too surprised when I tell you that I attended a Pampers P&G Mom event and got completely geeked out over the science behind the diapers. The theme was for Pampers to offer the P&G Moms a … [Read more...]

Pampers & Walmart Canada Team Up to Help New Parents

October 21, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

To help celebrate their new prenatal program Pampers has asked P&G Moms to share birth stories and best tips for new moms. They are also offering a cool prenatal pack giveaway. I started to write out the birth story for my first daughter, but then realized folks might not want to wade through 500 words to find their Pampers giveaway. So here's the short cheat version, my … [Read more...]

Exciting News from Pampers, The Pampers Stork is set to Make a Few Special Deliveries

October 1, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

I am one of those people that hates change. When I find a product I like, I want it to stay the same. And when companies start mucking about, even just changing the packaging and such, I tend to get disproportionately grumpy. Which is probably why I was predetermined to hate the new Pampers Cruisers when they introduced them back in 2011. However, as I used them I begrudgingly … [Read more...]

Saving Diaper Dollars, Tricks for Buying Pampers Cheap

January 21, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

I've always been confused by people who say Pampers are too expensive. Diapers are something I never pay full retail for. I've gotten both my mom and my mother in-law into the habit of collecting Pampers coupons for me. I wait for a sale and I use coupons. I buy Pampers in large quantities and stash them in the closet. I don't mind stockpiling them, as it's not like diapers go … [Read more...]

Old Wives Tales, the Diaper Edition

January 17, 2013 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

I've been a Pampers Mom from day one, it's one of those things I have total brand loyalty for. When my first babe came along I tried a handful of different diaper brands, settled on Pampers as my favourite and have never looked back.  (I did a full review on Pampers Cruisers a while back, you can read it here if you're curious). I don't know if this is just an old wives … [Read more...]

Skinfix Diaper Rash Cream

April 3, 2012 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

It took me a while to get around to testing this, because thankfully Baby-G isn't really prone to diaper rashes, and despite the fact that Skinfix Diaper Rash Paste tout's itself a use every day to prevent diaper rash sort of thing, I'm loathe to be smearing things on her butt when I don't absolutely have to. However, today she had a terrible rash. It looked horribly painful. … [Read more...]

Pampers Cruisers, New & Improved?

November 2, 2011 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

A little over a month back now, I opened up a new pack of Pampers and went to change my daughter's diaper. In the middle of fighting my change-resistant squirmer, I suddenly noticed something was "wrong" with the diaper.  It looked different. It felt different. Had I bought the wrong type? Being that I was holding down a cranky, wiggly toddler at the time I just tossed the … [Read more...]

Diaper Time Woes – Or how to change a screaming octopus?

August 15, 2011 by Deanna Tousignant Leave a Comment

My first child was ridiculously easy to change.  Sure, she managed to pee on me more then once, and I had the occasional extremely nasty poop blowout to contend with... but after the first few weeks she caught on to the whole diaper changing thing.  She would lay relatively still and let me change her.  She seemed to welcome diaper changing time, which to me just makes sense. A … [Read more...]
