I've been going through piles of my mom's old photographs, and I've discovered that cheesy Polaroids from the 70s bring me a disproportionate amount of joy. Me and my Holly Hobbie playhouse, circa 1977. For something made out of cardboard this thing was pretty darn sturdy. For several years it served as play space and doubled as the spot where I dumped all of my stuffed animals. THEN My mother in-law noticed my latest giveaway, the one for the fantastic $270 sandbox, and she emailed me this awesome photo of my husband at 16 months old playing in his sandbox 1970s style.
