All of the Playtex trainer cups, like the First Sipster and the new Infant Lil’ Gripper, have “Twist ‘n Click” lids, which I adore. Because the handles are attached to the lid, I never have to worry about fiddling with it to get the spout lined up right. There is an easily marked “sweet spot”. You turn the lid until it hits the marked spot. There is an audible click to go by as well, but personally I find the visual indication more useful. The best part is, I can always get this cup open. The click and lock mean my husband doesn’t over-tighten the lid, making it impossible to open. Seriously, in the past I’ve had to tell my daughter “We’ll have to use a different cup until daddy gets home, because mommy can’t open that one.” That never happens with the Twist ‘n Click lids. It is always done up tight enough to not leak, while still being easy to open.
Now here’s the new and improved part… The cup part of the new Lil’ Gripper is squeezable. It’s made for adult sized hands to be able to give it a squeeze, which fills the straw with fluid. It’s rigid enough that little ones won’t be able to squeeze it themselves, so no messy squirts to worry about. It’s pretty brilliant, and even better Baby-G loves drinking from it.
Disclosure – I received the same Playtex package as described in the giveaway above. My opinions are my own and were not influenced by the company, or by the free product received.
